Therapeutic Activities

Therapeutic activities refer to dynamic movements and functional tasks that help improve a patient’s overall function. Therapeutic activities involve direct one-on-one patient contact that use dynamic movements to enhance functional performance. They address mobility, strength, balance, and coordination to meet specific functional needs of the patient. In general they are focused on improving “ing” tasks, for example, carrying, lifting, reaching, and transferring, among others.
